A George III oak cased eight-day longcase clock the 12" brass dial signed J N Haley, Wrexham with chapter ring of Arabic and Roman numerals, date aperture and subsidiary centred seconds dial within scrolling leaf engraving, pierced corner spandrels moulded with flower and scrolling leaves. The four pillar movement strikes on a single bell, the hood with swan neck pediment and later parcel gilt turned finials, in working order and keeping good time, 220 cm high. Note: recently refurbished; the aperture date is not connected to the mechanism and apparently never has been.
