A mid 19c French mantel clock in rectangular rosewood case with boxwood inlay and ebonised mouldings. The case has a top glass and cast brass carrying handle and a slide to remove the front glass and allow access to the dial. The silvered dial has been crudely repainted and bears the engraved name Henry a Paris. The two train movement is countwheel striking on a bell and has silk pendulum suspension. The backplate is stamped Henry a Paris, the clock stands 9.5 tall overall.

A late 19c French mantel clock in rectangular gilt spelter case with blue porcelain dial with central painted landscape and with blue porcelain urn surmounting the case. The urn is mounted with gilt swags and has flambeau finials flanking it and the dial has black Roman numerals on white reserves. Below the dial is a lenticle glass for viewing the pendulum, the movement is rack striking on a bell and the clock stands 16 tall.
A late 19c French garniture de cheminee comprising a central clock flanked by two urns. The cases of all three are constructed of spelter which may have been bronzed or gilded but is now heavily tarnished. The clock has red porcelain panels and dial and a similar urn surmounting it. These are decorated with cherubs, gilt patterns and foliage. The urns have red porcelain bodies painted with classical maidens and cherubs. The clock movement is by John Baptiste Delettrez and is rack striking on a bell, the clock stands 13.5 tall and the urns 12 tall.
A mid 19c mantel clock with French two train movement countwheel striking on a bell. The 4.5 diameter white enamel dial bears the name Grant and has Roman numerals and a broad engine turned brass bezel. It is contained in a round topped mahogany case (probably English) with stepped base and decorated with boxwood stringing and line inlay. The case has cast brass thimble shaped feet and stands 12.25 tall.
A late 19c French mantel clock in rectangular stepped ormolu case, the top having four corner finials and a central urn and the body having four slender turned columns to the corners. The dial is of blue ground porcelain and is rectangular with a painting of two lovers beneath the chapter ring which has Roman numerals on cream reserves on a gilt background. The sides of the case have full height porcelain panels depicting sprays of flowers. The movement is rack striking on a bell and the clock has circular turned feet and stands 14.75 tall.

Cut Down British Georgian Officers Sword, plain gilt metal knuckle bow with lion head pommel, plain langet. Grip retains the original wire binding. A Regency ebonised bracket clock, by James McCabe, Royal Exchange, London, with three-train movement striking on a bell and with ten further musical bells, also inscribed on the backplate "McCabe, London", with brass carrying handles to either side and raised on brass bracket feet. Width 36 cm, height 46 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This clock is in generally very good order. The movement is currently ticking nicely and striking and chiming as it should. It sounds on the full, quarter, half and three-quarter. The repeat mechanism works also. The case is in basically very good order as is all of the brasswork. The feet are original. There are some old stress fractures across the top of the arched hood but no significant case issues. The dial is a little dirty with scuffs around the winding apertures but again no significant issues.

Johannes Tegelbergh Fecit Hagae', a late 17th century and later 'Haagse' clock, the verge movement with signed decorated backplate, silk suspended pendulum, pierced countwheel, striking on a bell at the top of the case above the skeletonised gilt chapter ring, date aperture above, on a hinged velvet covered dial and winged mask spandrels, on shaped feet , 43.5cm (17 in) high The movement may have been housed in the different case but is signed on the back plate. The current case though old looks to be of provincial manufacture.
