A George III oak brass dial longcase clock Pullan of Bradford, the hood with arch top and full turned and boxwood strung columns, the trunk with canted door inlaid with a shell patera and satinwood banding, the base box with conforming inlay, raised on bracket feet, the 12in (30.5cm) brass dial with silvered sun boss to the arch and silvered chapter rim with black Roman and Arabic numerals, within moulded spandrels, the four-pillar eight-day movement striking on a bell, with two brass weights and pendulum, 49cm wide x 24cm deep x 214cm high.

A late 17th century/early 18th century lacquered longcase clock, the later associated case with chinoiserie decoration, the rectangular hood with an ogee cornice above an arched door, enclosing a dial with a possibly later arch with a silvered convex boss engraved 'John Smart, London', flanked by a relief moulded dolphin on each side, above a 12" dial with pierced and moulded foliate spandrels, subsidiary dial for seconds, date aperture and Roman numerals and Arabic 5 minute markers, over a long trunk door decorated and relief moulded with figures and a building over a swan, the base with a chinoiserie panel, raised on a plinth, the 8-day movement with anchor escapement and 4 pillars, striking on a bell, with two weights, pendulum, key and a winder, 216cm high (8)A John Smart is listed as working from 1674-1682 and as being apprenticed to J.Johnson on the third of August 1674. He was given freedom of the Clockmaker's Company on the 29th of September 1682.Frederick James Britten, Britten's Old Clocks and Watches, 9th edition, page 603.Restorations, including lacquer and paint decoration. Case later than dial/movement. Arch on dial possibly later, as in two distinct sections, although done a very long time ago - from consistency of patina and braces etc used probably 18thC. Silvering on chapter ring and boss worn. Hands later.Minor chips, dents and scratches consistent with age and use. Some bubbling on lacquerwork, especially whole of left side of trunk.Operational in vendor's home, but told that careful balancing of clock needed.

A French gilt metal and porcelain mantel clock, emblematic of Innocence, late 19th / early 20th century, with bell strike movement marked 'R&C Paris & London' (probably Richard & Co.), no.5751, fronted by a pink porcelain dial with Roman numerals and floral garland, a similar plaque to the base with a musical trophy, the gilt metal case with a maiden standing beside a plinth, a pair of doves at her feet, on a shaped base with fluted and toupie feet, stamped 'P.H. Mourey' to reverse, 15 ¾in. (40cm.) high, with original giltwood and velet stand. (2) * Lacks pendulum. Minute hand bent. Porcelain dial and panel in good condition. Some wear to gilt, mainly to figure's robe. Base has some gilt wear.

Carry' of Paris mark and 'Samuel Marti' medal mark, no. 5718 7.2, 16 ½in. (42cm.) high. * Winds and runs. Strikes correctly. Some wear to gilding. A few tiny nibbles to edges of marble case. Saunders, Warminster, the convex white enamel dial with painted Roman numerals and Brequet style hands, an eight day twin fusee movement striking on a bell, the case with brass pineapple finial on a stepped top, with a chipped band to the top and bottom and strung brass detailing throughout, brass ring handles to the side above brass fish scale panels, raised on ball feet. 18 ½in. (46.9cm.) high.

A French ormolu rococo revival mantel clock, 19th century, the twin train movement signed 'G. Poursillie Montauban', no. 436, with outside countwheel striking the hours and half hours on a bell, fronted by a white enamel dial, signed indistinctly, with blue Roman numerals and Arabic outer minute track, the ormolu case decorated with swags, foliage and rocaille, with a seated cherub and two nesting love birds, on scroll and foliate feet, 11½in. (29.25cm.) high. * Winds and runs. Strikes correctly. Surface dirt to upper surfaces of case. Signature to dial rubbed but otherwise good with just minor scratches. Good overall.

A 19th century ebonised and gilt metal mantel clock, the twin train movement numbered 4581, striking the hours on a gong, fronted by a silvered Roman arched dial with gilt mask and floral spandrels and gilt foliate bezel to the bevelled glass door, in a bell top case with urn and cone finials, canted corners with gilt caryatid mounts, gilt arched grilles to sides and foliate gilt feet, 18 ¼in. (46.25cm.) high, movement overwound, requires repair. * Striking train of the movement has been overwound. The pendulum suspension spring is detached and damaged. The dial and case are in very good condition overall, with just minor wear to ebonising to corners. Key to rear case door present and lock working.

Marti & Cie movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the Sevres blue enamel dial with Roman numerals and painted landscape, over a conforming panel to the base, the matched gilt metal ovoid vases with similar landscapes on a blue ground, the clock 10in. (25.4cm.) high. (3)

An early 19th century French prisoner-of-war bone and horn model of H.M. frigate 'Melpomene', with bound masts, yards with stun's'l booms, standing and running rigging, carved and painted warrior figurehead, hair rails, anchors, catheads, capstan, belaying rails, ships bell, ships boat in chocks, deck rings, grating, upper deck guns in slides, the planked and pinned hull with horn strake, carved stern and quarter gallery decoration. Mounted on a bone support on a two tier display base with straw work and carved bone surrounds, the whole on four carved pedestals, the plaque reads 'H.M FRIGATE MELPOMEN 44 Guns Captured from the French at Calvi 1794, and added to the Royal Navy Her Active and Distinguished service continued until 1890 ** A Bone model made by Napoleonic Prisoners of War 1794-1817', frigate size, 9 ¼in. (23.5cm.), two tier display base, 8 ¼in. (21cm.), later glazed case measuring 6 x 15in. (15.2 x 38.2cm.), 11 ½in. (29.3cm.) high, paper label to underside. (some restoration). * Some restoration, splits to bone etc, some warping, glazed case with crack to one side, very pleasing to the eye, good condition.

A George III Channel Islands silver Guernsey pattern beaker, maker's mark PM struck twice, once to base and once below rim (Pierre Maingy, Guernsey fl. c. 1739-1776), the heavy gauge bell shaped bowl with single incised line below rim and short, slightly flared girdled foot, inscribed 'DDP né le 4e: de novenbre 1765' to one side, later inscribed 'P. C. Faddy' to the other, 2 ¾in.
