An Oak and Elm cased 30 hour Longcase Clock, the 11'' square brass face having a polished brass chapter ring with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute digits, the centre of the face with engine turned patterning and with three cast brass spandrels and one beaten brass at the lower left of a differing design and probably made up of old lock plates, engraved to the base of the chapter ring is the name, ''Theophilus Jones, Aberg-avenny.'' The heavy brass plates of the movement are separated by two turned pillars and two rectangular section pillars and the movement striking the hours on a bell has an externally mounted count-wheel, the movement at one time having been cord driven is now driven by a chain. 75 3/4'' high x 17 3/8'' maximum width
