A domed white metal Button - ''J. Godet & Sohn, Konigl Horfjuwelierfe, Berlin', miniature Maltese Cross medallion, pin with scroll gilded ends, mauve and grey braid with centrally attached bell mallet and nail having gilt finish, fragments of an old bone vesta case, the front with an engraved depicting of a lady in cronolines, a white metal pin set with very pale pink 'stone' of seal style depicting a bearded gent, in an early design combat helmet, and four tiny painted clay Buddhas, each about 10 mm. high, etc.
A good example of late 18th / early 19th century longcase clock, the square painted 36 cm dial having shell pattern decoration in green and gold to the corners signed T. Richardson, Weaverham and having seconds dial and date wheel aperture. Brass hands are replacements, 8 day movement striking hours on a bell, with weights and pendulum. Case of oak and inlaid mahogany typical of the Cheshire area with square fluted quarter columns to the trunk. Case and winding keys included and a service report from Eric Gent 1993. 200 cm tall. Thomas Richardson is listed in Loomes as working 1795, there is also a John Richardson, Northwich who may be related.
