The serpentine sided hexagonal basket on a pedestal foot pierced with intricate decoration and having entwined vine branch handles with fruiting tendrils to the terminals and a domed lid embellished with swags of bell flowers, fruiting vines and a scrolling fruit knop finial, 8½ ins (20.5 cms) in height.
Six Fine Turned Boxwood Containers with screw-on lids: A cylindrical bottle case having a prominently raised centre dome to the lid 7½ ins (19 cms) in height, 3 ins (8 cms) in diameter, a pharmaceutical bottle case with domed lid stamped S.MAW SON & THOMPSON LONDON TRADEMARK, 5 ins (12 cms) high, 2½ ins (6.5 cms) in diameter. Two tobacco jars with turned lids centred by inlaid mother of pearl studs 3½ ins (9 cms) high and 3 ins (8 cms) in diameter. A small round snuff box with turned roundel to the centre of the domed lid 1½ ins (4 cms) high & 2¼ ins (6 cms) in diameter. A bell-shaped glove powdering flask the pierced powder holes to the stem, 5 ins (13 cms) in height.
A Small 17th Century Oak Court Cupboard. The upper section having a moulded cornice above a carved frieze of repeating leaf forms with engraved decoration and ball turned pendant finials either side overhanging the cupboard. The panel doors ornamented with a carved lozenges framing chip carved whorls and flanking a centre panel depicting a flowering plant issuing two carved ball flowers, pendant bell-shaped blooms and acorn-like pods embellished with punchwork. The lower section having two cupboard doors each with an upper panel over twin base panels in run-moulded frames 48 ins (122 cms) in width, 61 ins (155 cms) in height and 20½ ins (52 cms) in depth.
An 18th Century 30 Hour Oak Longcase Clock, Circa 1720 of good colour & patination. The single handed 11 inch (28 cm) square brass dial inscribed W.Hough, Wrexham along the chapter ring encircling a matted centre engraved with scrolling foliate sprays surrounding a calendar aperture & having decorative brass spandrels to the corners. The thirty hour movement striking the hour on a bell. The hood carved with the initials M D K 1740, and having turned columns flanking the glazed door. The arch-topped slender trunk door edged in applied D-mouldings. Standing 75½ ins (192 cms) high, 17½ ins (44.5 cms) wide and 11½ ins (29 cms) deep.
