A mid 19th century eight day French ormolu mantel clock with fine chased and burnished scroll work. The case surmounted with a figure of lady in period costume playing a harp, on scroll feet, height 60cm. The movement is a round plated French rack striking type, playing on a single cast bell. The dial of white enamel has blue and gold edged Roman numerals and is marked "Jean le Gallais - Jersey".

A French ormolu striking mantel clock, late 19th century, 46cm high 17.12.13, Case with the ormolu mounts slightly faded, some minor chips in parts, dial with one brass collet missing around one of the winding holes and one very minor chip to the edge of the winding hole, back door glass is cracked, movement is dirty, bell and pendulum are missing.
A gilt brass striking carriage clock, retailed by Henry Capt, A Geneve, circa 1880, engraved case with scroll decoration, movement stamped Japy Freres, striking on a bell, later outer travelling case, 15.5cm high over handle 17.12.13, Case with gilding slightly faded, bevelled glasses with some minor scratches in parts, dial surface is slightly dirty, top right hand side of the dial with hairline cracks and small chips to the top corners which are covered by the bezel surround, movement needs cleaning, balance is swinging and in going order, striking is working, later outer travelling case.

A French gilt spelter mantel clock with surmount in the form of a cavalier on horseback CONDITION REPORTS Overall with some wear and scuffs, left front leg broken off and missing, some damage and losses including one horse leg broken, fitments quite wobbly, glass missing to dial and dial is quite cracked and crazed, it is not known whether or not clock is complete or in working order. There is a pendulum present. There is no key. There is a bell at the back of the clock.
A French gilt spelter mantel clock with profuse scrolling and floral applied decoration CONDITION REPORTS Height approx 47cm. Dirt and various chips and losses throughout. Ceramic flowers, Foliage and decoration is of a very thin, light weight and flexible metal. Tarnish. Base is of wood and is covered with fabric/leather which is very deteriorated. Old woodworm holes. Wood dowel feet. Very dirty and would benefit from a clean. Dial with several cracks. There is a key. There is no pendulum. There is a bell at the back of the clock.

An impressive carved oak long case clock, the movement by Joseph Oxley, Norwich, the silver finished chapter ring having Roman numerals with floral engraving between the figures , the brass domed face having circular engraved domed plaque with makers mark in between with gilded dolphin and floral moulding , the movement having the eight bell chiming movement believed to be in working order , the case depicting a bearded man with dolphins, three weights and pendulum included, clock face being approx. 15 x 47 cms and the case being 62 x 400 x 33 cms.
