A late 19th century brass drum clock, the white enamel dial set with Roman numerals and indistinctly inscribed, housing a fourteen day Japy Freres movement striking on a bell with visible platform beneath the handle, height 11.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: there are several hairline cracks to the enamel and also rubbing to the names now non-visible, some tarnishing to the case, a couple of small dents to the back. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently.

The lyre shaped clock is surmounted by a gilt-bronze mask of Apollo above a floral swag. The white enamel dial is surrounded by gilt-bronze flora and the clock dial features Arabic numerals. The four light candelabra have an urn shaped base and are flanked by masks and floral swags issuing foliate arms and rose formed sconces. The dial signed Tiffany & Co. The works, stamped France, inside of bell EB (backwards B). Key included. Clock measures 23" H x 9" W, the candelabra 18" H x 7-1/2" W. Condition report upon request.
