Finch/ N.York’ in oval, and with spurious crown over ‘GR’; stepped lock with pigeon breasted cock, stamped ‘T. Ketland & Co’ (the last part indistinct), dark walnut fullstock with brass mounts, including French style trigger guard, British ordnance pattern side plate recently machine engraved with serial number 0010320, and apparently originally having a belt hook; with brass tipped ebony ramrod. Generally GC (age wear and patina overall, action fails to hold on full cock, lock lightly pitted).
