CONDITION REPORT The bell has the Royal Crown Derby cipher. The pot with cover has a small interior rim crack and faint hairline to the interior, inside base of bell has tiniest rim chip, some slight loss of gilding to cylinder vase.
An Edward VII hallmarked silver novelty tortoise table bell, Grey & Co, Birmingham 1907, width 14.5cm. CONDITION REPORT The mechanism is in working order, but it continually rings when wound up. There is one fixing pin missing from the silver shell, overall very nicely presented with no visible signs of damage. The body, bell etc are metal, the head, tail and shell are silver.
