Rozanne Bell (South African b.1962 - ) Original Oil On board 'Church On The Hill' A large landscape image depicting whitewashed church and surrounding dwellings amongst autumnal fields. The whole finished in impasto oils, signed to bottom centre in umber oil. Housed in contemporary black and pewter distressed frame with broad white inner mount. Excellent condition, 39 x 14.5 inches. Provenance, purchased by our client in 2011 - Hepplestone Fine Art.

An early 19th Century oak and mahogany cross banded eight day long case clock by W Wain, Burslem Having a broken twin swan neck pediment above a pair of turned columns flanking the 13" painted dial embraced by spandels painted with various dwellings, centred with a subsidiary second dial and date aperture signed with the makers name, having an eight day movement striking on a saucer bell, the case with a pair of conforming turned columns flanking a shaped door above a lower panel centred with an inlaid conch shell and raised on ogee bracket feet, height 230cm, complete with two weights.
A large oak tavern style longcase clock, basically late 18th century, the large re-painted black and gilt lettered 92cm mahogany dial marked 'Wagstaff, London 1787', with twin barrel six pillar movement rack striking on a large bell above, the trunk in two sections with fretwork brackets above short door, on a plinth base 278cm (108in) Condition:Newer curved section of timber below dial. Right side of trunk cut away with hole through case. Dial repainted or later painted. Movement not tested. With pendulum and two weights. Probably a marriage of sorts but longer previous history unknown. Sold therefore as seen.

A George III mahogany bracket clock, the bell top case with carrying handle above brass dial signed 'Jno Rowning Newmarket', with strike / silent to the arch, mock pendulum and date aperture, twin fusee 5 pillar verge movement, arched glazed side panels and glazed rear door, on bracket feet 43 x 26cm (17 x 10in) case has been somewhat cleaned in the past. Rear door lower hinge loose. Untested
A French 19th century gilt metal mounted clock garniture, the demi-lune white marble case on four columns, the 9cm white dial (cracked) with bell striking drum movement, 41cm (16in) high, together with a pair of candlesticks (3) upper marble section broken. Lacks one pendant drop. Dial cracked.
