Strike working and with excellent sound.Movement and dial appear to be original, with no apparent alterations.Seatboard and cheeks are period and probably original.Case later carved.With later baton across back.Small loss to matted centre at 2 o’clock, possibly in the making.Later pegged to hold door.Timber with light varnish.Case and dial possibly associated.

Garniture – porcelain good (no chips or cracks), slightly grubby, some gilt wear.Clock – porcelain as per garniture, all gilt bronze good and complete, some modest tarnishing to extremities, no apparent restoration, clock working, with pendulum.
