NB this was the first TV Project of Producer-Puppeteer Gerry Anderson, the British Series Four Feather Falls was also the first to use Anderson`s patented " Supermarionation" which would later be used in such programmes as Supercar, Fireball XL5 and Thunderbirds. This game is a very rare piece. The show premiered February 26th 1960 with 39 fifteen minute episodes together with a Four Feathers Jigsaw complete (2)

Folio, volume one only of three, engraved title, typographical title printed in red and black, illustrated with folding engraved portrait of the dedicatee, Ferdinand Bonaventure, twenty-nine text engravings, and a full-page portrait of Johann Adam Schall von Bell (1591-1666), text printed in two columns throughout, bound in later vellum, contents with occasional spotting, two pages in the index with small holes, 12 x 7 1/2 in. Hazart was a Jesuit priest who in this work compiles the adventures of the missionaries of his order in the Far East. Some but not all of the engravings are adapted from Kircher`s China Illustrata, many depict original subjects, and are admirably executed.
