1930'S SILK & LACE PEIGNOIR WITH LINGERIE An exquisite and elegant shell pink satin peignoir. The gown dates to the 1930's and was owned by an Italian aristocrat. The beautiful light satin has been embellished throughout with inlaid needle lace depicting small bunches of flowers. Shearing on the shoulders form a gathered and rouched front leading down to handmade lace buttons. 57" long x 28" waist. To compliment the peignoir is a chiffon silk and lace negligee style vest, with chevroned pin-tucks, pretty bell shaped sleeves and a pair of silk embroidered pants. (3)

Two pre-1945 Lalique glasses, one with bell-shaped bowl and pierced rectangular stepped stem, etched mark to base and numbered 5023, height 18.5cm, the second with black painted cockerel to the stem, etched mark to base, height 12.5cm, and a set of six Art Deco glass tumblers (8). CONDITION REPORT: Both glasses appear good. Minor wear to surface.

A reproduction Chinese bronze bell in late Western Zhou Dynasty style with incised and cast taotie decoration, with two applied cast tigers to two sides, with Greek key decorated loop suspension ring, height 24.5cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: The tail of one of the tigers has broken off but is present.
A pair of Elizabeth II hallmarked silver candlesticks with bell shaped sconces and detachable nozzles on waisted stem above spreading circular loaded foot, WI Broadway & Co, Birmingham 1976, height 26cm. CONDITION REPORT: One of the candlesticks has a small dent where the stem is attached to the base and an area of scratches in an attempt of removing old wax. Both bases have minor scratches throughout and some areas of misshaping to the edge of the base. Nozzles are probably associated.
A pair of George V hallmarked silver candlesticks with bell shaped sconces above tapering stems and stepped circular loaded feet with bead decoration, Marson & Jones, Birmingham 1923, height 30.5cm, a pair of silver mounted clear and ruby glass vases, Henry Perkins & Sons, Birmingham 1910, a clear cut glass globular scent bottle (mountings af), and a further example with slender neck (stopper missing), an Art Nouveau style silver backed hand brush and a further similar unmarked example and a small vase with part gadrooned and scroll decoration, Sheffield 1899, height 10.5cm, weighable silver 3.5ozt (9).
EARLY 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY AND OAK EIGHT DAY LONG CASE CLOCK by Joseph Maddock of Tarporley (Cheshire). North Country design case with broken swan neck pediment to the hood above square aperture flanked by fluted square pilasters, the waist with pointed arch, cross banded door flanked by fluted pilasters and with cross banded decoration on a cross banded panel base with similar fluted pilasters. The face 36cm square, having Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture, with painted floral spandrels and decoration. eight day two train movement strikes on one bell, overall 223.5cm high approx. CONDITION REPORT: Basically in good condition overall, no glass to the door, face may have been well re-painted at some stage, lacks feet, minor losses to cross banding, with wear in places, pendulum and two weights.
18TH CENTURY OAK, BRASS FACED, EIGHT DAY, LONG CASE CLOCK, the face marked: Joshua Allonay, Taunton. Moulded cornice over square aperture flanked by turned pilasters, the waist with cross banded, moulded door with star inset on a panel base with bracket feet. Brass face with Roman numerals to the chapter ring and pierced foliate vase spandrels, seconds dial and date aperture. Eight day, four pillar, two train movement striking on one bell. Face 11" square, clock overall 78" high approx. CONDITION REPORT: A little dry and unloved generally, top of the hood is not as original, seconds finger and date aperture are missing. Some retouching to gilding. Panel to base is split. Restoration required. Includes two weights and pendulum.
19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRONZE, TWO TRAIN MANTEL CLOCK, the case overall mounted with porcelain panels, painted with domestic scenes and river landscape, and being surmounted by a large vase shaped finial over a porcelain face with Roman numerals on a step base. The base marked: John Walker, Regent St., London. French brass drum movement, striking on one bell. Overall 40cm high, approx. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition, a little grubby and dusty but no obvious damage or losses, includes key, not tested. No pendulum.
19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY REGULATOR STYLE TWO TRAIN LONG CASE CLOCK, having architectural pediment over circular dial flanked by canted angles, the waist with arched door flanked by further canted angles on a panelled base with bracket feet. Circular painted face with Roman numerals, seconds and date dials, marked: Barry, Cardiff. Two train, four pillar movement, striking on one bell. (bell removed and not extant). The dial 12.5" diameter, the clock overall 84" high. CONDITION REPORT: Overall basically good condition commensurate with age, some lifting veneers and minor losses, particularly around the hood, a little faded, scuffed and worn in places, bell seems to be missing. Only one weight. Door and winding keys.
19TH CENTURY NORTH WALES, MAHOGANY CASED, 8 DAY, LONG CASE CLOCK, having foliate broken swan neck pediment above arched aperture flanked by double spirally moulded and turned columns, the waist with plain arched door, flanked by spirally turned columns on a panelled base. Arch painted face with seconds dial and date aperture marked: J. Griffith, 38 High St., Carnarvon. 8 day, two train movement striking on one bell. The face 48 x 35.5cm, the case overall 234cm high approx. CONDITION REPORT: Appearing overall in good condition for age, includes pendulum and two weights.
19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK, 30 HOUR LONG CASE CLOCK, marked: J.Jones, Lampeter, having broken swan neck pediment above arched aperture, flanked by turned columns, the waist with shaped and banded door, quarter turned pilasters on a panelled base. Arch painted face with seconds dial and date aperture. 30 hour movement striking on one bell. The face 36 x 30cm overall, 223.5cm high approx. CONDITION REPORT: Average condition only, rather lacking in patination and grubby, paint losses to the face, cracked glass, glued pendulum and one weight.
AN ASPREY AND CO SILVER PLATED COCKTAIL SHAKER in the form of a bell, unscrewing to reveal three separate sections marked to base number 3447 with provisional patent number 12739/37. 28cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The top of the handle has a dent of some significance. Surface wear overall as expected. Appears complete. Markings to base are clear. Minor dings and dents as expected.
VICTORIAN EBONIZED AND GILT METAL MOUNTED BLIND PIER CABINET having red veined marble top over acanthus leaf gilt metal frieze, gilt metal mounts and pendant bell flowers flanking blind door with mask centre mount on a platform base with mask and foliate mounts. 122 x 91.5 x 40cm CONDITION REPORT: Overall appearing in good condition commensurate with age. The marble slab has broken to one corner and repaired. One particular area of inlaid brass banding is becoming detached.
JAPANESE PATINATED BRONZE LIDDED BOX in the form of a temple bell overall decorated in relief with gilded dragons writhing amongst clouds above waves, with two sixteen petal chrysanthemum flower heads, geometric patterns to the cover and gilded petal band to the base. Signed to the base. 14.5cm high. CONDITION REPORT: General surface wear with age. Tarnishing to interior. Noticeable dent to rim of jar.

Pressed hard linen boards with gilt tooling, published in London by George Bell and Sons, Vol. I & II: 1884, Vol. III: 1887. (3) CONDITION REPORT: No dust jackets. Wear and fading to front of books. Volume 1 has loose pages. Interior of books appears overall to be in good condition.
19TH CENTURY FRENCH ARCHITECTURAL ORMOLU MANTEL CLOCK, the case surmounted by ram's head and swag mounted urn over an arch pediment with pineapple finials, circular enamelled face with Roman numerals, above two painted French porcelain panels on a platform base with bun feet. Two train drum movement striking on one bell, together with a gilded wooden plinth. The clock 36cm high. CONDITION REPORT: General surface wear to the case, no significant damage or losses, movement and face are loose within the case. Plinth base has significant losses to and wear to gesso and gilding.
UNUSUAL MAHOGANY AND MIXED WOOD MARQUETRY DECORATED TWO STAGE ETAGÈRE, both top surfaces decorated with marquetry panels of birds of prey in mountain landscapes, supports and legs carved with bell flowers and with scroll feet, each section having break front frieze and having Chippendale style gilt metal animal design handles, the base with shaped, cross over stretchers. Probably 19th Century, Japanese. 91 x 91 x 66cm. CONDITION REPORT: Requiring general restoration, both marquetry surfaces are badly bleached, worn and scratched with lifting veneers in places but appearing complete although requiring general restoration. Overall movement in stretchers and joints, some minor losses particularly to corner mounts noted and evidence of old worming.
LATE 18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY SERPENTINE FRONTED SIDEBOARD of small proportions, having a rosewood, crossbanded and satinwood strung top over centre drawer and arch, flanked by two deep drawers, all with lion mask ring handles and similar crossbanded decoration, standing on square tapering legs with spade feet inlaid with pendant bell flowers. 87 x 122 x 61cm. CONDITION REPORT: A little faded, some minor losses to stringing, stains and wear commensurate with age, horizontal split to both sides.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK, 30 HOUR, LONG CASE CLOCK, marked: Edmund Parry, Llanidlo, the case with broken swan neck pediment above arched aperture flanked by baluster turned pillars, the waist with cross banded and strung inlaid door flanked by turned pilasters on a cross banded and strung inlaid panel base with baluster feet. Arch painted face with date aperture. 30 hour movement strikes on one bell. The face 44.5 x 31cm overall, 223.5cm high approx. CONDITION REPORT: Overall good condition, some minor scuffs, marks and wear to the case commensurate with age and minor wear to the face.
19TH CENTURY FRENCH EMPIRE STYLE TWO TRAIN, ROSEWOOD, PILLAR CLOCK, the architectural case surmounted by a gilt metal, recumbent lion, overall inlaid with foliate swags, cherubs and Classical designs, silvered face with Roman numerals, repousse gilt metal pendulum on platform base. French brass drum movement striking on one bell. 52cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Overall appearing in good condition commensurate with age, no obvious significant damage or losses. Minor areas of splitting and lifting veneers noted with minor losses to sides in places.
