A c1910 Chater Lea Cross-Frame Bicycle. A rare machine with a 24-inch frame, 26-inch rims and tyres, a Fagan two-speed rear hub operated by an interesting lever control mounted on the narrow, 17-inch handlebars, Bowden cable-operated rear CL brake and a later fitted auxiliary front brake. A modern Brooks saddle, plunger bell, 9-inch chain wheel and rat trap pedals are fitted.
A c1890 Humber & Co. (?) Pneumatic-Tyred Track Ordinary. A very rare lightweight track bicycle with a 53-inch tangent spoked wheel with a ½-inch hub with petit bell-cupped ends. The rear wheel is 20-inch. The pneumatic tyre inflates, and stays inflated, the rear tyre, rim and hub are more modern. The circular section backbone, steering head and forks are of the lightest construction, and retain signs of original black enamel and the remains of a gilt manufacturer's transfer just below the stiff blade saddle support. The saddle is a Huntington model and, although incorrect for the machine, is serviceable for demonstration rides. The delightful scorching handlebars have an 11-inch drop and turned wooden grips are fitted, as is an adjustable mounting step. Correctly, no brake is fitted.
A Raleigh Path Racer, having a 24-inch frame numbered 336680, with a black email finish (possibly original) with logos and 'All Steel' motif. Nickel-plated semi-drop 20-inch handlebars, inverted lever operating a stirrup brake, fixed wheel gearing, tangent spoked wooded wheels and 26-inch Avon Cord tyres. A Brooks B15 saddle is fitted, as is an unusual lamp bracket designed for handlebars with a forward extension with a battery lamp and bell fitted.
A circa 1907 Rudge Whitworth Bicycle. A 21-inch lady's loop frame with a black enamel finish, gilt box lining. A very original machine with correct RW hubs and 28-inch rims and tyres, semi-upturned celluloid covered handlebars with inverted levers operating stirrup brakes, roller bell, single speed with one piece cranks, RW mudguards, split rubber pedals, nickel-plated fittings and a leather saddle, and saddle bag.
A circa 1904 Lady's Dursley Pedersen. A size 'A' bicycle numbered 896?. Finished in green enamel with nickel-plated fork ends, 16-inch up-turned handlebars with inverted lever-operated stirrup brake and rear brake, celluloid grips, 26-inch Westwood rims and tyres, metal chain guard and a leather frame-fitted tool bag. The laced saddle has been rebuilt to original specification and Lucas double-ring bell and a nickel-plated 'Pathfinder' oil lamp is fitted.
A circa 1910 Dursley Pedersen 'Anti-Rust' Model. Painted dark green, it is a size 5 machine numbered 7312, and has a re-woven hammock saddle, original celluloid covered drop handlebars with inverted brake levers and original style grips, stainless steel 28-inch Westwwod rims, single-speed rear hub, nickel-plated cranks and chain wheel, Lucas front-mounted luggage rack, Lucas double-ring bell, and a similar period candle lamp. Offered with this machine is the bicycle's original front wheel and a Villiers Variable Gear hub and stainless Westwood rim. (3)
An Overman Wheel Co., 'Victoria' Lady's Bicycle. Dating from circa 1893, a good and original loop frame bicycle, enamelled black with nickel-plated 23-inch handlebars, cork grips, double link inch-pitch driving chain, single rod cranks with adjustable main bearing, correct style solid/cushion tyring on 26-inch deep set rims, lever-operated front plunger brake, fixed rear wheel gearing, fabric chain guard and skirt guard and an unusual tipping leather-padded saddle for ease of mounting. A later Riemann candle lamp and a Lucas double ring bell are fitted
An Overman Wheel Co., 'Victor Flyer' Bicycle. Dating circa 1894, and originally a cushion-tyred bicycle, but now fitted with 28 x 1¾-inch pneumatics. A good and original diamond frame bicycle, enamelled green with nickel-plated 25-inch pacing handlebars, cork grips, block link inch-pitch driving chain, nickel-plated cranks and chain wheel with adjustable main bearing, lever-operated spoon brake to the rear wheel, fixed gearing, feet rests and rear spindle mounting step. A period bell is fitted.
A 1911 Sunbeam 'Golden' Roadster. A very original bicycle with a 26-inch frame number of 106252, with signs of its original gilt box lining, 28-inch wheels, roller lever-operated 'Sunbeam' patented brakes, leather saddle with a 'OO' Brooks badge on the rear, chain guard, steering lock and split rubber pedals. Offered with the machine are two celluloid handlebar inserts, the original caps replaced. A pair of front and rear oil-powered lamps and a Lucas bell are fitted.
A Pope Mfg Co., 'Columbia Model 38' Bicycle. Dating circa 1894, this blue-enamelled 24-inch frame would be ideal for sprinting and competition work. Originally a cushion-tyred bicycle, but now fitted with 28 x 1¾-inch pneumatics, but retaining its double-roller driving chain, petit competition leather saddle, semi-drop 18-inch handlebars with a Lucas LSD bell fitted, rubber grips and American style rat trap pedals.
A c1888 D. Rudge & Co., 'Bicyclette Racer'. A 20-inch frame numbered 50575, finished in a two-tone green enamel with a long saddle support, this quality bicycle, featuring 28-inch hollow rims and narrow section ¾-inch tyring and, as was usual with Rudge, numbered component parts. Further features include a leather saddle, block chain, nickel-plated handlebars with a crows- foot bell fitted, later Reimann candle lamp, original pedals with correct style but new rubbers fitted, foot rests and lever-operated plunger brake to the front wheel. The bicycle has its own stand. (2)

An early large-scale clockwork Günthermann 4-4-2 Floor Locomotive, approx 17" long and finished in green with black and gold trim, red wheels with silver rims, the cabsides featuring a deep tumblehome to the bottom and uncommon A-G-G-W trademarks in diamond formation (a variation on the better-known A-S-G-W version, 'G-G' believed to be the widow of Siegried Günthermann), the model having embossed bar-type frames, air tanks to each side of boiler, 2 brass domes and safety-valve casing, dummy bell on bracket behind chimney (presently detached), and an operating bell worked from the front axle when running. The mechanism wound through a right-side driving wheel, is released by pressure on the rear drivers, overall F, some paint flaking from cab front and other areas, some areas retouched e.g. wheel rims, mech tested okay but one driving wheel is loose on axle, one buffer broken, small damages to front lamps, one dome and other areas, lacks tender, boiler-top bell detached
A Vintage Bing Gauge 1 Train Set box and Track with an incomplete Bing Continental Level Crossing, a pre-WW1 set box, the lid showing a somewhat GWR-style 4-6-0 locomotive with train of clerestory coaches emerging from a tunnel, with Bing trade mark and 'Form 1359' to bottom right-hand corner, the label F-G, remainder of box P, with staining and many damages, containing three Bing curved rails Including one brake rail) and 13 Märklincurves, and together with an empty Hornby 'Gare Demontable No 21' box, F, flat-packed, the level crossing with clockwork mechanism (working) to raise barriers and ring crossing bell, P-F, one barrier, crossing house, gong and some other parts missing, bell column detached from base and other damages, together with a German-style signal with lanterns (which may be part of the level crossing unit), F, lacks base and some other parts, together in a modern Tower Collection 'Warship' loco box, box G (2)
