A LARGE PAIR OF CHINESE IMPERIAL FAMILLE ROSE GU BEAKER ‘BAJIXIANG’ VASES, IRON-RED SIX CHARACTER QIANLONG MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD 1736-95 Of archaic bronze form, each brightly decorated with the eight Buddhist Emblems, adorned with ribbons and encircled by elaborate scrolling lotus designs, all reserved on a white ground with gilt rims, divided by bands of key fret, ruyi-heads and stylized acanthus, the bell-shaped foot with chevrons and key fret, the interior and base with a turquoise glaze, 44.8cm. An extremely fine and elaborately carved mahogany and parcel gilt Armchair, in the early George III style, the shaped back with carved animal heads, the large pierced central panel carved with shells, leaves and bell flowers, over outswept arms with large bird beak handles on front carved and pierced cabriole legs, with paw feet. The record is in Ex+/archive condition with very little indication showing that the record has been played. The printed inner is in perfect condition. The gatefold sleeve is in Ex+/archive condition with minimal wear throughout. An 'as new' copy.
