J W BELL "French 19th Century interior", watercolour, initialled bottom right, together with another similar, 50 cm x 70 cm and 48 cm x 63 cm CONDITION REPORTS Frames with various chips, damage and losses, various areas of repair and overpainting. Paintings themselves have some deterioration, some flaking and losses , some foxing and spotting, dirt, fading and wear. Some tears to edges. Large chunk missing top edge of picture depicting lady and gentleman in interior and also a chunk missing bottom left of this picture. Some sections of back boards to the frames are missing, and there is dirt, mould, stains and warping to back boards.
