A good 19th century French ormolu and steel mantle clock by Morel, Paris, the Gothic shaped top with ornate pierced detail and apron supported by 4 fluted steel columns with turreted surmounts and decorative knops flanking a seated medieval couple in an amorous encounter. The 8 day movement striking on a bell with a scrolled gilt dial and painted Roman numerals on tablets. With glass protective dome. The stepped base similarly decorated and the lower steel band engraved "Presented to Jno.Jas.Josh. Sudlow Esq by the Administrator and Next of Kin (exparte materna) of Wm. Osgood Esq, late Chief Justice of Upper Canada. May 16th 1829" (54cms high, as viewed, minute hand missing)

The 8 day movement striking on a bell and stamped J.T. Paris and the conforming black dial with polychrome floral garlands and painted Roman numerals. With a stepped gilt wood base and a protective glass dome and stand (53cms on stand)

A William III brass lantern clock, 17th century. With an engraved brass dial and chapter ring, with three foliate pierced `frets` to the top, cut steel hand, AMENDMENT: the movement is a weight driven anchor escapement striking on a bell. it is not (with verge escapement with central swinging pendulum, count wheel striking on bell,) height 39 cm, (no pendulum).

Test pressure 180 psi, signed and dated August 2009; also a Welder Approval Test Certificate; together with an adjustable build table and construction documentation.
