The semi-circular arched dial has brass spandrels, silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, two subsidiary dials one for strike/silent, one for months of the year. A cutaway in the centre of the dial reveals the maker's name. The back-plate is engraved with the central motif of a phoenix surrounded by swirling foliate design. Double fusee movement with verge escapement striking on a single bell, with quarter repeater pull chord. 42 x 28cm.
