Following his death in 1834 his business was carried on by Roux et Cie throughout the 19th century as Vincenti et Cie who were awarded the Medaille d'Argent in 1855.

Originally called Landenberger and Lang, became the Hamburg Amerikanische Uhrenfabrik in 1891. Landenberger previously worked as business manager for Junghans. In 1930 the HAC merged with Junghans. The trademark of two crossed arrows was registered in 1892.

dating: 17th/18th Century provenance: Italy, Fine, tapering, 17.8 mm cal barrel, more antique than the stock, signed 'MAFFIO PEDRETTI' at the base and provided with a small fixed rear sight, slightly bell-mouthed nozzle with moulded muzzle, decorated with carved leaves. Modern-style lock with slightly-rounded plate engraved with garlands at the tang, cock and batterie with small engravings. Working mechanism. Wooden full (!) stock, probably in one piece, with checkered neck and decorated with raisers. Brass butt plate and trigger guard (the second with a detachment at the tang). Silver barrel bracket. Iron ramrod with carved head. For Maffio Pedretti see 'Repertorio Storico degli Archibugiari Italiani', by B. Barbiroli (page 418). Master from Pistoia (Tuscany, Italy), working between the last quarter of the 17th Century and early 18th Century. length 177,5 cm.

Bell-mouthed nozzle, with moulded muzzle. A snap bayonet with iron triangular blade assembled above the barrel. Sliding locking mechanism, assembled above the tang of the barrel. Lock provided with external secure lock, signature 'Richards' and 'J&W', and provided with sealed pan and big antifriction wheel. Smooth, wooden full stock. Brass mounts. Butt-plate with carved trophy, trigger guard with flower and acorn. Iron tipped, horn ramrod. For Joseph & William Richards see 'Der Neue Stoeckel', vol. 2 page 1040. With their address in Birmingham (49 New St.), where they worked together from 1799 to 1817. The page also features the same mark as the one on the gun. length 76 cm.

Re-finished lock provided with external secure lock, signature 'J.N. JONES & SON', and provided with sealed pan and big antifriction wheel. The hammer probably replaced. Working mechanism. Smooth, wooden full stock with checkered base. Brass mounts. Butt-plate and trigger guard with floral engravings. Brass tipped, light wooden ramrod. Smooth escutcheon at the back. 'Der Neue Stoeckel' states that Jones & Son (John) was a trader in London in 1825-1830, at 146 in Minories (Vol. 1 page 598). length closed 76,3 cm.

Smooth wooden full stock with grip decorated with a net and small circles. Two small pieces of wood reattached. Brass mounts. Butt-plate and trigger guard with fine engravings, the latter worked as an acorn at the rear tang. Counter-plate with frames taking in the lock and with a floral engravings. Horn-tipper, light wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractor. Stoeckel reports Jospeh Griffin from Londra between 1750 and 1787, in 1770/1 joins John Tow changing the signature: 'Griffin & Tow'. Vol. 1 page 461. length 77,3 cm.

Lock signed 'Newton', hammer provided with external secure lock. Working mechanism. Smooth wooden full stock with a shell-shaped carving around the tang of the barrel. Brass mounts. Butt-plate engraved with rocaille, the trigger guard worked as an acorn at the rear tang. Pierced counterplate. Iron ramrod. Newton is documented in Grantham, Lincolnshire, between 1781 e il 1815. Fine counter-plate, pierced with spirals and flowers. Brass-tipped wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractor. Robert Wilson is documented between 1759 and 1766 in London. See 'Der Neue Stoeckel' vol. 2 page 1395, which also features the mark present on the gun's barrel (8557).
