WW1 Period 1897 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword32 1/2 inch, dumb bell blade with central fuller (some pitting) ... Chrome plated foliage pierced guard with Kings crown “GRV” cypher. Chrome plated, checkered backstrap. Shagreen covered grip with copper twist binding. Leather sword knot. Now contained in a chrome plated, Scottish pattern scabbard with two loose hanging rings.

Needs cleaning. Strikes on the hour. Clock appears overwound and does not tick. We cannot guarantee the working order of this lot. See images.

Springs seem good. Winds and ticks. Tries to strike on on the half and full hour but gong appears to have been bent out of position. We cannot guarantee the working order of this lot. Needs cleaning. A 19th century French ormolu five-glass repeating carriage clock, 5cm slightly convex white enamel dial inscribed Bryson & Son, Paris, Roman numerals, 14-day movement striking on a bell, chased throughout with foliage and scrolls, incurved pilasters to angles, shaped swing carrying handle, ogee-shaped base, 15cm high over handle, c.1880 Condition Report: Please see attached images. The dial in good condition with some very small wear. The case itself with some surface wear, scratches and blemishes. The glass good. Not fully wound but working when escape button pressed and chiming; however we don't guarantee the perpetuity of any mechanism or its working condition. The movement clean and in order.The backplate is numbered 4404. Difficult to discern any numbering between movement plates - if there are any. The base and foot each correspondingly numbered 4404.
A 19th century French rosewood and marquetry carriage clock, 7cm rectangular dial inscribed Paul Garnier, Ho[rologie]r du Roi, Paris, Roman numerals, the movement with platform escapement, striking on a bell, the case inlaid in brass and mother of pearl with scrolling leaves and musical trophies, plinth stand with bracket feet, 19cm high, c.1870 Condition Report: Please see attached images. Cracked dial with no losses. Losses to stringing in places, one corner with replacement veneers and a replaced pegged backplate. Wear and tarnish. Fairly clean movement but not currently set up and we don't guarantee the perpetuity of any mechanism. Please see attached images. D.S.
A 19th century Welsh crossbanded mahogany longcase clock, the 35cm circular painted dial inscribed Xavier Ganz, Swansea, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, twin winding holes, 8 day movement striking on a bell, the broad case with arched cresting, shaped door to waist flanked by spirally turned pillars, bracket feet, 215cm high, c.1865 Condition Report: Please see attached images. The movement looks clean and no reasons to suggest it wouldn't be in working condition when set up. A few losses and replacements to veneers. Later hood case finial. Some stable splits.
A George I Derbyshire oak longcase clock, 25.5cm square brass dial inscribed Wolley (sic) Codnor, Roman numerals, masks and leafy scrolls to spandrels, date aperture, single hand, 30 hour movement striking on a bell, the hood with outswept cornice and turned Doric columns, long rectangular door to waist with bulls-eye lenticle, bracket feet, 203cm high, c1725James Woolley was born at Breach Farm Codnor, Derbyshire in 1695 and was apprenticed 1709-1716 to John Wyld the elder of Nottingham (who later became his brother-in-law) and thereafter made clocks of increasingly high quality at Codnor (where he also farmed) until his death aged 89 in 1785. The business was continued for another generation by the sons of his brother Samuel, John and Samuel Woolley. Condition Report: Hello, this lot is in good condition, the movement is fixed on to the seat board with pins. The shape in the seatboard is oval, the back runs to the top of the widest part of the base please see attached images thank you.

A George III mahogany and brass mahogany bracket clock, 20cm circular dial inscribed Edward Elliott, London, 4016, Roman numerals, 8-day double-fusee movement striking on a bell, the case surmounted by a brass pineapple finial, pyramidical top, inlaid brass spandrels and twin lion mask and ring handles, pierced grills to sides, glazed door to verso, ball feet, 47.5cm high, c. 1810 Edward Elliott was of the third generation of a distinguished line of London clockmakers. His grandfather was the eminent John Ellicott, FRS (1706-1772), who was succeeded by Edward's father also Edward who died in 1791. Thereafter Edward, junior signed Edward Elliott as here until taking a partner (as Elliott & Taylor) in 1811. He was free of the Clockmakers' Company in 1795 and later served as master, dying in 1835. Condition Report: One side fret loose, o/w generally good condition

Condition Report: No obvious signs of woodworm, it has weights and pendulum, see attached images thankyou

A Louis XVI Revival Sèvres porcelain and ormolu mantel clock, 7.5cm slightly convex white enamel dial inscribed with Arabic numerals in blue and second subsidiaries in black, twin-winding holes, 14-day movement, the centre and apron with inset plaques painted with putti and neoclassical trophies en grisaille, on a cobalt blue ground, the case boldly cast and crested by an emblematic agrarian trophy of a scythe, bushels, flowers and birds, the base with further trophies emblematic of music and the arts, applied throughout with floral garlands, bun feet, 32cm high, c.1870 Condition Report: Broken handles. Lacking bell/gong and pendulum. Good overall condition with a hairline crack on the top of the vase, signs of damage to the leg that is attached from the bottom of the vase to the platform base. A Second Empire gilt-metal mounted Carrara marble mantel clock, by C A Richard & Cie, Paris, 14cm circular enamel dial inscribed with Roman numerals, twin-winding holes, Brocot escapement, 14-day movement striking on a bell, the drum-shaped case crested by an eagle and serpent, bun feet, 61cm wide, c. 1870 The maker was the distinguished firm of C A Richard & Cie of Paris founded 1848, and awarded a gold medal at the Paris Exhibition 1889; normally impressed on the back plate, but here absent, confirming the earlier date. Condition Report: This lot is in good condition with some scuffs on the marble and the gilt around the base area. Please see attached images for examples.

A George III silver circular salver, the beaded border cast and pierced with palmettes and bell-husks, anthemion feet, 20.5cm diam, Peter Desvignes, London 1775, 11.5oz Condition Report: Condition ok although each foot appears to of been naively repaired. The salver is slightly misshapen and shows signs of age related wear and tear. Please see attached images.
