Contained in a gilded case with a figure of a lady next to a fountain on top of a 13" porcelain dial - marked 'Hry Marc Paris' - with white marble-type plaques to each side surrounded by flowers, shells and leaves. Raised on a wooden plinth. Dimensions: 16" x 13" x 3½". Condition report: Crudely painted name: 'Hry Marc Paris' on dial. No dome. Movement not tested. Pendulum and key present.

James McCabe Regal Exchange London fusée bracket clock with two-train chain-driven fusée movement, anchor escapement striking on a bell. Backplate of the movement is engraved 'James McCabe Royal Exchange London'. With pull repeat. 7½" silvered dial with maker's name on it together with strike/silent above 12 o'clock. A cast brass bezel with bevelled glass. Contained in a mahogany case with brass pineapple finial on top, cast brass carrying handles and pierced brass frets and lined with red silk to sides. Glazed rear door and stamped on the case No. 2512 on rear door threshold. Case raised on 4 brass ball feet. Dimensions: 20" x 12" x 7". Condition: Restored by seller. In good condition, some splitting of case where bezel lock is at 9 o'clock, some fading from sunlight, otherwise good condition. Winding key and door key present.

Contained in a shaped mahogany case with glazed rear door, a carved front of clock with a lovely silvered shaped bezel, with pendulum and key. Dimensions: 17" x 14" x 8".Condition: Some minor shrinkage cracks to case due to age, looks to be in original condition. Movement not tested.Note Sir John Bennett is recorded at Cheapside around 1872. He was Lord Sheriff of London and knighted by Queen Victoria

Flame mahogany panel in base. Weights, pendulum and door key. Dimensions: 88" x 18" x 9".Condition report: Restored condition. Case re-finished. Dial in good condition may have been restored. Movement not tested.Note William Thornton Ferrier is recorded as working in Queens Street and Nelson Street, Hull between 1820 to 1851

A FRENCH GILT-BRASS FOUR-GLASS MANTEL CLOCK c.1900, the case with Corinthian corner columns, four bevelled glass panels, a 3¾-inch enamel dial with Roman numerals, a recessed dial centre with a visible 'Brocot' escapement, twin barrel movement striking on a bell, movement backplate stamped Marti and numbered 1815, twin mercury tube pendulum. 28.5cm highWe are not able to confirm whether it is an accurate timekeeper, not currently ticking. The enamel has a hairline crack across the 6, the maker's mark is rubbed and damage to the enamel around the key winder.

An appealing Victorian brass skeleton Clock having a cable fusee single-train movement performing a passing single strike on a bell at each hour with the hammer in being in the form of a halberd/war axe and having a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, the movement with an intricately fret-worked brass frame of steeple form and with an anchor escapement, the whole supported on four turned brass conical feet. Complete with a blue velvet trimmed, turned and ebonised wood base raised on three turned wood compressed bun feet and complete with the associated glass dome. A winding key and a pendulum are present. 14 1/4" tall x 7 3/4" diameter, the height inclusive of the glass dome is 18 1/4" approximately. The movement ran at the time of cataloguing.
