A gilt-metal and marble clock garniture, early 20th century, French, the white enamel dial set with Roman and Arabic numerals and inscribed 'Regnault A. Paris', housing a spring-driven movement and striking on a bell on the half-hours, the case elaborately cast with cockerels, foliate scrolls and set with a pair of fawns, each piece raised on lion-paw feet,the clock 38cm wide23cm deep61cm high (3)Condition report: Rubbing and wear to metal. Some chips to edges and corners of marble. Chips and scratches to dial around winding apertures. Associated key present. Ticks and chimes when wound, although this is no guarantee of full working order. The interior bearing a sticker for P. Adam Watch and Clock Repairs, indicating that it was serviced at some point in the last couple of decades. General wear. Some wear/minor cracks around the keyholes of the dial.
