An officer’s Bell topped shako, 1829-44, of The 11th (N Devon) Regt, black felt body (replaced) with PL top, peak and upright “V” on each side, silver plated round link chinscales, with ear roundels bearing the Royal Crest, white feather plume, 8” (socket missing), gilt crowned star shako plate on which a laurel wreath with scrolls and centre circle bearing 7 battle honours “Peninsula” to “Orthes”, in its shaped japanned tin case with small padlock and key. A late 19th century multi purpose clasp knife, ivory grips, with large blade 4½” (replaced), smaller blade and saw, both with “Brookes & Crookes Sheffield” bell mark, and hoof pick concealing corkscrew, gimlet and triangular section awl, small tweezers in end of grip and provision for needle (missing). A Gilt Metal Mounted Onyx Striking Mantel Clock, signed Raingo Freres A Paris, circa 1890, urn finial, scroll and floral mounts, 4-1/2-inch enamel dial signed, twin barrel movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, 35cm high 01.04.19. Gilt metal mounts are discoloured in parts, base with small chips to the edges in parts, dial appears to have been restored at 12 and below 6, movement is clean, in going order, with pendulum.

An Oak Thirty Hour Longcase Clock, signed Will Snow, numbered 125, 18th century, flat top pediment, blind fret work to the front, arched trunk door, 11-inch square brass dial with chapter ring signed and numbered, floral engraved centre, date aperture, skeletonised movement plates, anchor escapement and outside countwheel striking on a bell, 208cm high .03.04.19. Case with some scratches and chips in parts, surfaces are slightly rubbed in parts, front of the base with one crack, dial is discoloured and needs re-silvering, both hands are broken and missing, later seatboard and slight packing to both sides of the cheeks and in my opinion this is due to the seatboard being the wrong thickness, movement needs cleaning, with pendulum and one weight.

Top of the pediment has been has been restored, ebonised surfaces and gilt painted decoration is worn and faded, case surface with some blistering affect in parts, later applied printed door panel scenes, dial is slightly dirty, later seatboard, later added wooden blocks to both sides of the cheeks, movement needs cleaning, with pendulum and two weights.

Case with small scuff marks in parts and minor dents, dial is slightly discoloured, movement looks clean and all complete, with pendulum and two weights.
