A large and fine seven-fold Chinese ebonised wooden Screen; finely incised and polychrome decorated with figures in various guises within and outside a grand building within country surroundings with rockwork, trees etc., all bordered by birds in flight and double Ruyi style heads; the Screen flanked with precious archaistic style objects including tripod censers, a wine jues and an archaistic style bell etc., the reverse of the screen also finely decorated with various birds and storks amongst prunus, trees and foliage, 213cm high CONDITION REPORT: The eight fold screen is generally in good condition, there are small areas of wear and losses and surface scratches which do not detract from the overall decorative presentation, minor losses to the edges of the screen commensurate with age and use (see images)

A large and heavy 18th century silver Hot Water Jug/Coffee Pot, the hinged dome-topped cover surmounted with a bell-shaped finial, with woven rush handle and the main baluster body with a lower wrythern and foliate design in repoussé style, raised on circular foot, makers mark ER, assayed London 1759, old British Antique Dealer's Association circular sticker to middle of body, with elaborately engraved armorial crest, 27cm high, approx. 675g CONDITION REPORT: This has come direct from the President of a major Oxford College who has now retired. General condition overall is very good with no problems noted although there is a slight darkish tarnish blemish near where the handle joins the top but this appears to rub away.

An early-19th century period mahogany and brass inlaid eight-day Mantel Clock, the architectural-style pediment with three inverted brass finials above a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and London retailers mark, gadrooned lower base and raised on turned gilt metal feet, two gilt metal mask-and-ring handles flanking above lattice work, sound apertures, the gilded movement individually numbered 4832 (together with original corresponding numbered pendulum) and signed Japy Freres, striking on a bell, 25.5cm high
