A 19th Century figured mahogany and crossbanded eight day longcase clock, by Barry Bolton The swan neck glazed upper hood, enclosing 14 inch white enamelled dial with black Arabic numerals and adorned with foliate spandrels and two subsidiary dials, with upper moon phase in the arch, the inlaid trunk with reeded columns and swept carved door, raised on bracket feet, with pendulum and two weights, 222cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1185 Does the clock come with pendulum, 2 x weights, winding key and door key - YES Saucer bell off but present. A George III oak and mahogany crossbanded eight day longcase clock by Thomas Clare, Warrington The 29cm silvered dial with Arabic Roman numerals, silverd seconds dial and date apeture, with brass spendrels decorated with the four Seasons, the case with shaped door, columns, hood with Greek key decorated fretwork, turned wood urns with turned wood supports, with two weights, pendulum and saucer bell height 219cm. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1188 - Hood - Turned finials loose, door does not close properly Frieze above door replaced Frame around clock face split Glass of hood right hand side missing. Case - Door hinges loose, scratches and dents etc.
George III fruit bracket clock with boxwood banding, the silvered chapter ring enclosing an engraved field named W.M. Robb, Montrose, above a date aperture, double fusee movement, anchor escapement, engraved back plate, striking on a top bell, in a bell topped case with pineapple finials, 44cm height, width 28cm, depth 19cm (pendulum, winding key.) Condition report: All clocks and watches are sold without warranty.
