Richards (Birmingham) c 1800, 29¾” overall, 2 stage bell mouth barrel 14", signed in script and with pre 1813 B’ham proofs; plain signed stepped lock with safety bolt (incomplete), roller on frizzen spring, and replacement old rounded swan neck cock; walnut fullstock with chequered wrist and brass mounts, including floral engraved butt plate tang and trigger guard with pineapple finial. A Belgian 6 shot 12mm Lefaucheux double action pinfire revolver, c 1865, number 198893, round barrel with octagonal breech 155mm (6-1/8”), the breech stamped “E. LEFAUCHEUX INVR BREVETE”, Liege proved, the breech, cylinder and frame inlaid with fine silver and gold lines and bell shaped flowers, with ejector rod (a replacement), bag shaped butt with plain ivory grips, and lanyard ring. A brass barrelled and brass framed flintlock boxlock blunderbuss pistol with spring bayonet, c 1820, 7¼” overall, bell mouth barrel 3¼” with octagonal breech, and with 3¼” spring bayonet beneath released by sliding trigger guard, Birmingham proved, the frame nicely engraved with trophies of flags and drums, and signed “MABSON & LABRON” in scrolls, with top safety which also locks the frizzen and plain walnut butt with large oval silver escutcheon.
