Circa 1835, a bronze and ormolu mantle clock retailed by Polti Frères a Tours. The ornate gilded case is covered with scrolling foliage and surmounted by a bronze putti holding a butterfly. The twin barrel French movement is by Raingo Frères a Paris and is twin barrel rack striking on a bell with a transitional pendulum suspension, 16 x 18
