A 19th century French marble and gilt bronze mantel clock of Neo-Classical form. Surmounted with a figure of Aphrodite and attendants. With an enamel dial with Arabic numeral markers and housing an 8 day cylinder movement striking on a bell, 37cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. No pendulum or key so we are unsure as to whether or not the clock is running. There are very minor chips along the bottom edge of the marble and slight scratches near the bezel clasp. The right hand putti has a bow by his side that is loose. The dial is in good clean condition. Bronze gilding may have been refreshed, there are some slight marks in places.
