An exceptional 19th century large Cartel French bell clock. Of large heavy gilded brass with decorative scroll work and embellishments. The clock face with roman numeral chapter ring having inset 8 day movement. Above a very large bell with Latin notation under arch with finial top. The clock is 95 cm long.

Late Victorian black slate and veined marble two train drum head mantel clock with white enamel Roman chapter ring around exposed dead beat escapement, two train movement striking on one bell.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Overall very grubby externally, one back foot missing from the case.
