The 14" square arched brass dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, minute track, subsidiary seconds and calendar dials, foliate engraved centre and cast brass spandrels, signed on convex disc to arch A Howie Paisley. The 8 day two train four pillar movement with anchor escapement, striking on a bell engraved G. Ainseorth Warr. The hood with dentil cornice, arched glazed door and freestanding twist columns with fret cut fan patterae to sides, the trunk with hinged rectangular door flanked by quarter twist columns on box base raised on bracket feet. Pendulum, weights and key, 215cm high.
