A good 19th century French oval carriage clock, with two train repeat movement by Japy Freres, the indistinctly signed white enamelled dial with subsidiary hour/alarm, striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the case with chased decoration, 15 cm h, c/with numbered ky '288' and in leather travel case with engraved plate 'F & M Parry 1863' (note no glass in case) good original overall, dirty and some tarnishing, movement winds although does not maintain momentum (quite probably due to lack of use), alarm function operates
