A pair of 20th century Chinese gilt-bronze lion dogs on plinth bases. Each cast with scrolling mane, wearing bell collars, seated on their haunches, on rectangular base cast with scrollwork, L13cm x H18cm Condition Report: Overall in good condition. Some scratches and wear consistent with age and usage. Some rusting to the exposed metal. Several casting flaws such as slight dents. Lion dogs are not attached to the bases. No apparent restoration or alterations.
A contemporary and appealing light Oak cased Longcase Clock, the eight day movement having brass face engraved ''Richard Brompton, Longhope, Glos'' with Roman numerals and Arabic minutes and with cast brass spandrels and an inset seconds dial below, the 12 o'clock postion, the movement striking the hours on a bell, 74 1/2'' high x 18 1/2'' wide x 10'' deep.
