A mid 18c eight day longcase clock, the 12"" arched brass dial signed David Rivers, London and having a matted dial centre, scroll spandrels, date and seconds rings and a strike/silent in the arch (disconnected). The five pillar movement has rack strike and anchor escapement and the original bell strike has been converted to a gong in the back of the case. It is contained in a black lacquered case with chinoiserie decoration, the arched hood is surmounted by a pagoda top and has attached columns flanking the dial. The long arched trunk door has chinoiserie decoration of pagodas and trees and at the base a horseman. The base panel shows two lions and the base has a double plinth, 91"" tall overall.

Where possible we can quote for postage and packing for small items.  Larger items we would recommend Mailboxes or similar.  You can also organise your own courier to collect.  We may be able to deliver larger items, please contact us to discuss.
