Victorian rhino horn handled walking stick, the silver collar assayed Chester 1893, the rhino handle at 10cm long raised above a silver collar and malacca cane, 86cm high, The walking stick was handed down the vendors family, at one point being used by Mr Godfree, of the Royal Horse Artillery, in 1915 Godfree was on look out duty when his colleges were pinned down by enemy fire, Godfree left his post and attacked the enemy loosing a leg in as a result, he was awarded the Russian Medal of St George for "conspicuous gallantry" he then returned home to Mendlesham in Suffolk to run the Fleece public house This lot can only be exported to EU countries

GEORGE IV COALPORT DISH WITH COVER decorated with gilt highlights and a stylised pink border, marked to the base 'Patronised by the Society of Arts, The Gold Medal awarded May 30th 1820', 12.5cm high, 17cm long Wear to the gilt in areas. Small chip to the rim of the lid. Crazing evident to the glaze.
Nineteen large DM Medal Special Signed Covers. The unbelievably rare set of 19 special signed large RAF Museum Awards Series Covers, in the nicest Black Cover album I've ever seen. The album alone has got to be worth £100! This series of eighteen flown covers illustrates the principal honours, decorations and campaign medals which have been awarded to members of the Royal Flying Corps, Royal Air Force and Royal Air Force Regiment, the Royal Naval Air Service and the Fleet Air Arm. Each cover (which measures a large 32cm x 23cm) carries the signatures of seven airmen, whose gallantry or leadership in the service of their country, has been recognised by the award shown. A further special cover has been added to the series to mark the relationship between the RAF and the Luftwaffe. The collection comes housed in a luxury album, and all the covers are laid out in protective sleeves with the inlay cards and signatories photographs shown opposite. René Lalique, a Chilean bronze centenary medal depicting a woman standing on a pedestal surrounded by wheat with dates '1810' and '1910' in the top two corners with a banner between "18 Setiembre", inscribed to pedestal 'Republica de Chile Primer Centenario', stamped R. Lalique to lower right, the reverse with a mountain scene, a Chilean flag, and a coat of arms, together with two pressed brass Lalique medals, one for orphans of the war, the other for sufferers of Tuberculosis (3)
§ Walter Durac Barnett (British, 1876-1961) Laying electric cables, Ledbury Road; and Laying asphalt, Shepherds Bush both signed lower right "Barnett" and the first inscribed lower left with title pastel (a pair) 22 x 28cm (9 x 11in) Walter Durac Barnett was born in Leeds where he attended the School of Art, and later Wrexham and Lambeth Schools of Art, the latter under Innes Fripp,1896 - 1900, where he won a medal and scholarship. During World War I he served in The Artists' Rifles. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Goupil Gallery and in the provinces and he was a member of the Artists of Chelsea. Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, Bradford, holds his work. Condition appears fine.

A French Louis XVI style ormolu mounted marquetry kingwood marble topped side cabinet, by Alexandre Hugnet, with single drawer above two cupboard doors, on tapering supports with ormolu capped feet, interior label for A.Hugnet, 69 Faubourg Street, Antoine, Paris, W.2ft 10.5in.Alexandre Hugnet, the son of cabinet maker Aine Hugnet succeeded his father at his Faubourg, St Antoine Etelier in 1880. He was awarded a silver medal at the 1889 Exhibition Universelle.
