Coalport Improved Feltspar Porcelain - an oval dish with wavy edge moulded to the edge with grapes and vine leaves gilded, the centre painted with flowers and gilded sprays (21.5cm), together with three similarly decorated plates (20.5cm), all but one of the plates with large red factory transfer mark noting the Gold Medal Award for the porcelain in 1820
ALBERT PRINCE: (1819-1861) Prince Consort of the United Kingdom, husband of Queen Victoria. D.S., Albert, one page, oblong folio (neatly trimmed to the edges), n.p. (London), n.d. (October 1851). The partially printed document bears the engraved heading Exhibition of the Works of Industry of all Nations 1851 at the head and certifies that Her Majesty's Commissioners have awarded a Medal to T. Turner for the services rendered to the exhibition, which took place at Hyde Park, London, on 15th October 1851. Signed by Prince Albert at the foot in his capacity as President of the Royal Commission. An engraving of both sides of the medal (one featuring Prince Albert's profile) appears alongside the signature. Neatly laid down and with some very light age wear, about VG

Roosevelt thanks his correspondents for the General Johnson medal and adds 'It is a fine expression of respect and appreciation'. With blank integral leaf. Accompanied by the original envelope. Miniature medals: Group of Three:East and Central Africa Medal, BWM, Victory (un-named, attributed to Rev A B Fisher), VF, together with an ID bracelet bearing a French coin, the reverse flat and engraved “Rev A B Fisher CF, C of E, All Hallows Leeds” and a Church Missionary Society Centenary Medallion 1799-1899 (un-named). Single miniatures: Baltic with swivel suspender, (un-named), VF and a modern Ashanti miniature with clasp Kumassi (un-named) EF. (7) Note: Rev A B Fisher is stated to have been a Missionary in Uganda. While he was Vicar of the Church of All Hallows, Leeds he conducted the wedding of Cpl C Hull, 21st Lancers who was awarded the VC in 1915.
Good Year Company: 3 embroidered badges promoting blimps; a base metal ditto d. 1977; a commemorative medal inscribed “Duralumin used in the Airship Akron; a scarce souvenir paper cap promoting the Good Year Zeppelin race and three card pencil cases of the late 1920’s/early 1930’s depicting modes of transport including Zeppelin etc (2 with some contents).
