An Iranian Group of Four Medals, 1941-1979, comprising Service Medal, Silver Jubilee 1966 with crown device to ribbon, Mohammed Reza Pahlavi Coronation Medal 1941 with crown device to ribbon, and Military Education Medal with crown device to ribbon, contained in a glazed display frame together with seven various raised bullion thread embroidered naval badges, also, a pair of embroidered shoulder rank straps and two insignia on a card; a 1939 German Iron Cross, second class, the suspender ring stamped 27 for Anton Schenkis, also, a Winter Campaign in Russia 1941-42 medal, on a display card; three Second World War Medals, of Burma Star, Pacific Star and Defence Medal, on a display card (3) **The Iranian medals were given to the vendor by a serving officer in the Iranian navy. At the time there were many Iranian sailors being trained for service on the Kharg, which was built by Swan Hunters on the Tyne and launched in 1977. When the Revolution happened in 1979 he went back to Iran and decided not to take his Shah medals with him.

Battle of Jutland Interest:- A First World War Trio, awarded to 238414 P.WATERLOW A.B.(later L.S) R.N., comprising 1914-15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal, together with original paperwork relating to the Jutland Bounty, a photocopy of his original hand written diary which relates his personal account of the battle, and his stained pine ''Ditty'' box set with a brass name plate.

Also WWII group of 39-45, Atlantic, France and Germany Stars, War Medal issued to Arthur Blackley. R.N. Also with another 39-45 Star and War Medal.
Medals. British Empire Medal; to Miss Agnes McCullough Mawhinney. With photocopy newspaper clipping. She was presented with the medal after retiring as manageress of The Crown Hotel, Wetheral. This is the highest honour to have been paid a manager in the Carlisle and District State Management Scheme.
A collection of WWII medals and ephemera relating to a Private R W Flack, of The Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment, Private Flack was a prisoner of war in Stalag 344 at Lambinowice, Poland. Also contained with this lot are handwritten memos, his life savings book, National Union of Railway Men contribution cards, postcards, Soldier's Class A Release Book, family letters relating to his imprisonment, The Defence Medal, 39-45 Star, and the 39-45 Campaign Medal, etc.
