Indian Mutiny Medal with Delhi Clasp to T Dye, 52nd LI. Complete with ribbon. Complete with research. Thomas Dye was a deserter for two years and later rejoined his Regt after a year in prison 1852. In 1861 his records state that the War Office restored his service and good conduct pay. This may have been due to him being part of the "Forlorn Hope" after the blowing of the Kashmir Date in the Seige of Delhi.

Being sold in aid of the War Memorial Village Derby Charity.

Along with small celluloid covered ribbon bar for same, Imperial Service Badge and a trench art cigarette lighter and one French commercially made lighter in the form of an Artillery shell.
WW1 British Military Cross group to Lieut JA Liley, RAMC comprising of MC engraved "JA Liley, Lieut RAMC, Oct 4th 1916", 1914-15 Star, War Medal and Victory Medal, mounted on a bar complete with ribbons. Plus a set of miniature medals of the same. Complete in a case. Listed in the London Hospital Gazette 1917 "Temporary Lieutenant James Arthur Liley, R.A.M.C. He attended the wounded in the open, and in the front trenches, under very heavy shell-fire. His coolness under heavy fire had a great moral effect on the men". Other research confirms he was wounded himself in 1917.
