A 2nd type mounted onto a Ladies bow ribbon. Now mounted into a small gilt glazed frame with professional card name plate of Adelina de Lara OBE. Adelina de Lara OBE classical pianist and composer was born in 1872 and died in 1961. She was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1951. Attribution is not confirmed by Bosleys.

RN), Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (GvR) (AB HMS DOLPHIN). Group remains as originally worn, polished. Harry Arthur Stride was born in 1898 and joined the RN as a Boy in 1913. Appointed a Boy Bugler he saw sea service with Indefatigable and Powerful. During the Great War his ships included Royal Arthur and Highflyer. He was still serving in 1929
Motor Machine Gun Service / Royal Tank Corps French Medaille d’ Honneur Medal Group. Awarded to Warrant Officer II M.D. Spicer. Comprising: British War Medal, Victory Medal 1687 Cpl. M.D. SPICER. M.M.G.S.-R.A, George V Jubilee Medal, George V Regular Army Long Service Good Conduct Medal (1930-36). (these two medals Named 7868393 W.O. Cl II R. Tank C.), French Medaille d’Honneur. The group is mounted for display, please note that WO. Spicer is entitled to the silver French Medaille d’Honneur and not gilt as mounted with the group Warrant Officer M.D Spicer enlisted into the Royal Garrison Artillery before being attached to the Motor Machine Gun Service and transfer to the Tank Corps with the service number 200045, this confirmed on the medal index card. He landed in France after the 1st January 1916 and is confirmed as being awarded the French Medaille d’Honneur silver London Gazette 11th July 1919. Remaining with the Tank Corps he saw service during the interwar years with the LSGC Medal being awarded in 1934 and a year later whilst serving with the 9th Light Tank Company in India was awarded the GVR Jubilee Medal.

The medal is accompanied by a 1903 dated letter which appears to attribute the medal to a Mr Alfred Schofield Sugden of Cleckheaton in West Yorkshire.
Surgeon’s India General Service Medal clasp “Burma 1885-7” Awarded to Surgeon J. Riordan Medical Staff Edge knocks, suspension slightly slack. Lieutenant Colonel John Riordan was born on the 2nd March 1856 and was appointed a Surgeon Captain in 1883 and Major in 1895. He retired from the Army Medical Service with the rank of Lt Col in 1904 and was employed at Clommel Tipperary until 1916. His India General Service medal appears to be his sole entitlement.

Housed in a Victorian leather and velvet case, this with tilt tooled details to the lid MEDAL OF MERIT TO ADAM JOHN GREAT GRANDFATHER OF ANTHONY A DEMEGE ESQ. The Rathkeale militia unit known as the Loyal German Fusiliers was one of ten Regiments raised in 1778 in County Limerick commanded by the then Captain Adam John Dolmage who was born in Limerick in 1744. He is recorded as died in Albany New York in 1801. Provenance: Through Delmege family descent.

Momrial Scroll, this named to the Manchester Regiment.Group awarded to 2602 PTE A.V. VINER R WAR R.1914/15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal, Bronze Memorial Plaque ALBERT VICTOR VINER. Memorial Scroll named to the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Both groups remain contemporary mounted into an ebonized glazed frame. The frame with some age wear. Private A.L.N. Viner landed in France with the Ox & Bucks on the 2nd October 1915, he was later attached to the 1/10th Bn Manchester Regiment and was Killed in Action on the 29th March 1918. Private A.V. Viner landed in France on the 22nd March 1915 and was Killed in Action with the 1/7th Bn Royal Warwickshire Regiment on the 23rd March 1916.
