A group of First and Second World War medals, and others to Captain W.B Metcalfe Glasgow Highlanders, Military Cross to Captain W.B. Metcalfe Glasgow Highlanders HLI cased and with ribbon, together with two 1914-18 medals to the same recipient and a North West Frontier medal to W.B. Metcalfe M.C A.E.C and a second North West Frontier 1930-31 to the same recipient but marked Captain W.B. Metcalfe A.E.C, together with accompanying miniatures and an Inter Company Match miniature range medal to Lieutenant W.B. Metcalfe, and two unmarked Second World War medals to the same recipient (family provenance). Sold with various regimental photographs including W.B. Metcalfe and copies of a passport, marriage and death certificate (see illustration).

Two 9ct Gold '375' hallmarked Prize Medals. One of the medals come with a Rolled Gold Albert Chain and three Sterling Silver silver fobs with rose coloured motifs on them. Total of five pieces in the joblot. One of the 9ct Gold Prize Medals states 'The Humphrey Medal White Hart Willesden' on one side and on the other side it says ' St. Albans Prize Band Best Horn 2nd Section Neasden 1922 E.Ewens' with lwreath decoration. The other medal is engraved one side on the rose coloured emblem 'EGE' and on the other side 'Hanwell Contest E.Ewens 1923' with wreath decoration. This medal is on a rolled gold albert chain. The two 9ct Gold medals weight altogether is approx 16 grams. The three Sterling Silver fobs weigh altogether approx 16.48 grams. Two of the silver fobs have blank cartouches. The other has a rose gold coloured harp emblem. The rolled gold albert chain is approx 39 grams.
Joblot of badges and medal. Three pieces altogether. Including: Women's Voluntary Service Medal in box with spare ribbon, Women's Voluntary Services A.R.P badge with red enameling and says 'H.B. SALE B'HAM' on the back of the badge. Also a Women's Voluntary Service Civil Defence badge with red enameling and says on the back ' GLADMAN & NORMAN SPENCER ST. BIRMINGHAM'. The badges have all got good C clasp fastenings.
