2014 FIFA WORLD CUP PARTICIPATION MEDALPresented here is a 2014 FIFA World Cup gold participation medal. Hosted by Brazil, the 2014 World Cup was won by Germany (their 4th title) who defeated Argentina 1-0 in the Final. The host nation finished in fourth after suffering one of their worst ever losses to Germany in the Semifinals, a 7-1 thrashing that also saw Brazil lose its star, Neymar, to a serious back injury. In the third place game, Brazil was shut out 3-0 by the Netherlands.Issued by FIFA, these medal were distributed only to players, coaches, high-level executives among the 32 National Teams in the tournament, as well as a select number of important FIFA officials. The obverse features a relief image of the 2014 World Cup Brazil logo with "FIFA WORLD CUP Brasil" and a tiny stamping of the manufacturer ("R.C."). The reverse has a relief image of the Jules Rimet World Cup trophy and text at the top reading "2014 FIFA WORLD CUP BRAZIL". The medal (diameter 51 mm; weight 60 g) appears to be made of gold-plated silver or bronze. Presented in exceptional condition, with no blemishes to speak of, and comes in its original black FIFA presentation case.
2021 COPA AMERICA WINNER'S GOLD MEDALCopa America is one of the world's oldest soccer competitions and has traditionally featured only South American countries to determine the best national team on the continent. The first one took place in 1916, hosted and won by Argentina. La Albiceleste (White and Sky Blues) have won the tournament 15 times alongside Uruguay. Surprisingly, Brazil is third with nine Copa titles. Since 1993, at least two teams - one or more from North America and one from Asia - have been invited outside of South America's usual 10 CONMEBOL (South American Football Confederation) teams. The 2021 edition was held in Brazil. In the end, it was Argentina holding off the host nation Brazil in the Final 1-0.Presented here is a gold winner's medal awarded to a member of the 2021 Copa America champion Argentina National Team. Designed with a loop and lovely blue 2021 Copa America ribbon (32” if fully stretched) to wear proudly, it measures 60 mm in diameter and weighs 88 grams (including the ribbon). The obverse has “AL CAMPEON” at the top with “CONMEBOL COPA AMERICA 2021” at the bottom and an image of the tournament emblem at centre. The reverse has an image of the South American continent and “1916” to denote the first year the tournament was played.

The family, in the Chikiriya clan, currently operates as a textile wholesaler under the name Chiso Co. Ltd., which is one of Japan's oldest businesses. According to the surviving genealogical records of the Nishimura family, the Chikiriya clan was founded during the Koji period (1555-1558) when Nishimura Yozaemon opened a shop selling clerical garments in the Sanjo-Muromachi district of Kyoto. The clan's shop flourished in the 17th century, operating in more than 100 housing units. He was hired at age 30 by the Nishmura Sozaemon company (now Chiso) to design embroidered pictures. He also worked for Iida Shinshichi (Takashimaya), and would win prizes at the 1893 Columbian World's Fair in Chicago, followed by a silver medal for the 1900 Paris Exposition Unverselle, and a gold medal at the Saint Louis World Exposition. Beginning in 1888, he taught at Kyoto Prefectural School of Painting, and would become an Imperial Artist in 1904, following his gold medal in Saint Louis.
