A. K. Hay R. A.: Nomination for and Appointment to the Distinguished Service Order, dated 1st January 1917, signed by George V, together with the Statutes thereof, Nomination for and Appointment of the Order of the British Empire Military Division, signed by George V, dated 1st January 1919, Mention of Despatches Certificates dated 13th November 1916, 7th November 1917, both by General Sir Douglas Haig, 18th April 1918, by General Sir H. C. O. Plumer, 26th October, 1918 by General F. R. Wilfred Edward Couldwell, The Wiltshire Regiment including a Military Medal, The France and Germany Star, The 1939-1945 Star, The Defence Medal and War Medal, together with the associated paperwork, cap badges, three miniatures etc. CONDITION REPORT: The medal on the far left has no visible name around its rim, as seen through the glazing, but cannot easily be inspected all the way around, as the rear of the frame is difficult to remove.
A collection of clothing and accessories related to the RAF and other to include a Wing Commander's No 1 Dress Jacket with medal ribbons and Observer Brevet, items of khaki drill uniform and a canvas and leather bag inscribed "M.C. Bunting RAF" and assorted collars/straighteners, additional ampulets etc CONDITION REPORTS All items have general wear and tear to include some discolouration and staining especially to the collars etc. Some areas of ripping noticeable in the shirt and khaki jacket around the sleeve area.
