A 9ct. gold 1956-57 Glasgow Cup winner's medal awarded to Eric Caldow of Glasgow Rangers, inscribed THE GLASGOW CUP, WINNERS, 1956-57, THE RANGERS F.C., E. CALDOW, in original fitted case Eric Caldow made a total of 265 League appearances for Glasgow Rangers between 1952 and 1966 during which time he won 40 Scotland international caps. Caldow won won five Scottish Championship titles with Rangers.

Items relating to John Michael Crook include his World War II Medals ( 2 x 1939-45 Medals, Defence Medal, African Star, 1939-45 Star, France & Germany Star, Italy Star), Three RAF Cloth Badges, his RAF Pilots Flying Log Book dating from 1941 to 1945, the Manuscript of his War-time Adventures (the book cover of the book is addressed to his wife W M Crook), a letter from Ian Smith the Prime Minister of Rhodesia and other ephemera. Also included within the lot is another Spitfire Paperback plus a Model Spitfire (these items have been entered by the son of J M Crook)
EURO 88 Box containing two silver metal medals relating to the Euro 88 Championships in Germany, one has the Tournament mascot on the front and the Euro 88 logo on the reverse. The other medal has the trophy on the front and Munchen Stadium on the reverse. The second boxed medal is a fine silver one ounce oblong shaped medal with Fussball inscribed on the front and the Euro 88 motif on the reverse. The inner lining of the case is also inscribed relating to the Euro 88 Championships in Germany. Both items were the property of referee Neil Midgley. Good

Comprises The Football League Centenary 1988 Mercantile Credit Tournament, Wembley International Tournament 13/14 August 1988, Makita International Tournaments 1989 and 1990 and a medal issued by Porto for the 1989 Makita International Tournament. All come complete with cases. Generally good

1987 CUP FINAL-COVENTRY Gold coloured commemorative medal presented by Coventry City to referee of the Final, Neil Midgley. Coventry defeated Tottenham 3-2 and this medal was issued by Coventry City and has the club coat of arms on the front and the FA Cup on the reverse. Comes complete with case. Good
STEVE REDGRAVE Two colour photographs both signed by Steve Redgrave, one shows the Coxed Fours from the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles with their gold medals, the other shows Redgrave with Andrew Holmes after the pair won the Coxless Pairs Gold Medal at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. Each photo measures 12" x 9". Good
WEST HAM / SYDNEY PUDDEFOOT Small head and shoulders picture of Sydney Charles Puddefoot who played for West Ham from 1919 to 1921, autographed "yours truly Sydney C Puddefoot 1921". He won an F.A Cup winners medal when Blackburn beat Huddersfield 3-1 in 1928 Final. Later in his career he became one of the first British players to play/coach abroad when he joined Fenerbache in Turkey. Generally Good

C.II Airship Disaster River Humber 1917. A collection of medals. presentation gold watches, certificates etc awarded to Special Constable Frederick Higham and his fifteen year old Boy Scout son Arthur for life saving after the airship burst into flames and crashed into the River Humber near Brough. Items relating to former Hull F.C. rugby player Frederick Higham, who was manager of The Gas Works at Brough at the time, comprise a boxed 18ct gold key wind pocket watch inscribed and presented by the Officers and Men of the South Hunsley Constabulary with 9ct gold watch albert weighing 70gms, 1898-9 Yorkshire Senior Rugby Competition 9ct gold fob and gold mounted amber cigarette holder in silver case; a cased OBE medal, Special Constabulary Faithful Service Medal, a cased British Gas Light Long Service Medal and WW2 Defence Medal in box of issue with paperwork and Long Service 1939 clasp. Items relating to Arthur Higham comprise 18ct gold key-less pocket watch inscribed and presented by the Officers and Men of the South Hunsley Constabulary with 9ct gold Albert chain weighing 45gms, cased Humane Society bronze medal with various certificates, Boy Scouts "silver" cross with certificate signed by Baden Powell and Boy Scouts Silver Fox award with neck ribbon and 9ct gold watch fob inscribed Hull and District Boy Scouts 1917.
