WW1 British Medal Group to 2nd Lt. Joseph Spencer Mitchell, Royal Flying Corps. The group comprises of Death Plaque with paper slips, British War Medal 1914-18 and Victory Medal both in original boxes with ribbons. Lt Mitchell arrived in France in Oct.1st 1916 and was killed in a flying accident aged 20 on Oct. 5th 1916 while serving with 70 Squadron. He was the Son of Lieut-Colonel Thomas Wilfred Howe Mitchell.
