GEORGE CONNELLY OF GLASGOW CELTIC F.C. MEDAL a Scottish Football League International gold and enamelled medal, inscribed verso "v L of I SEASON 1970-71 G.CONNOLLY" (The player's surname is misspelt on the medal). In nine years with the Celtic (from 1968-1976) Connelly made 254 first team appearances, scored 13 goals and won two Scotland caps, in 1974. Note: The Scottish League XI was a representative side of the Scottish Football League. The team regularly played against the (English) Football League and other national league select teams between 1892 and 1980.

Robertson 1883 , each side within double foliate and thistle borders, the inner border gilt, with thistle suspender, hallmarked for Edinburgh, no date, maker's mark JB, 60 x 50 mm excluding suspension mount, cased. Good very fine, rare and attractive.
A WW1 Medal trio named to Captain RM Wright of the Royal Army Medical Corps with his framed Promotion Warrant dated October 1915 with a framed & glazed Mentioned in Despatches citation dated October 1917. Also included is a Victorian oak presentation jug with inscription to Lieutenant Wright from the Officers & Non Commissioned Officers of No3 Company 1st Gloucestershire Rifle Volunteer Corps on his resignation. The jug is believed to have belonged to his father.
