British Royal Artillery Majors Battle Dress Uniform Set, consisting of a 1944 dated, probably Canadian made walking out pattern officer tailored battle dress blouse which has EIIR rank insignia to shoulders, embroidered Royal Artillery shoulder titles and printed 44th Home Counties division formation signs. 1939-45 War medal and Territorial decoration medal ribbons above the breast pocket. Accompanied by a pair of 1945 dated officers battle dress trousers and a similar battle dress with the same insignia but not dated or marked. All items remain in good condition. (3 items)
WW2 9th (Oxted) Battalion Surrey Home Guard Battle Dress Blouse, good example of a wartime battle dress blouse which is complete with all of its original insignia, including Home Guard shoulder titles and designation formation sign “SY 9”, rank stripe and red felt insignia to the lower arm. WW1 medal ribbons to the breast and interior with original size label. Good overall condition.

STENNING, 19th London Regiment Cpl on British War/Victory medal, together with a short typed information sheet regarding Stenning who joined the 19th London's and posted to the 'Toffs' Company, a telegram much later written with the date Nov 11th 1918, also a framed 'Mentioned in Dispatches' certificate dated 16th March 1919 for J.L. Stenning and a Post War General Service medal, Bar Palestine 1945-48 named to Pilot Officer K.J. Stenning, R.A.F. the son of J.L. Stenning, he flew missions in Palestine with regards to supply drops, etc, also present are some old photos in a folder and a number of 'Valentines' Aircraft recognition postcards
