An Edward VI cased Board of Trade bronze medal for Gallantry in Saving Life at Sea awarded to Arthur Lee 'Ennisbrook' 18th October 1908. The medal comes with a letter from the Board of Trade Marine Department stating that His Majesty would present the medal if the recipient were in the country and a further Board of Trade letter and envelope both signed by Winston Churchill and dated 1st February 1910: 'Sir, I have great pleasure in transmitting to you the accompanying bronze medal for gallantry in saving life at sea, which His Majesty The King has been pleased, upon my recommendation, to award to you as a mark of appreciation of your services in endeavouring to rescue Ali Said, fireman of the S/S 'Ennisbrook' of Glasgow, who fell from the gangway into the river Parana when coming on board at Puerto Borghi, Argentine Republic, on the 18th October 1908.
