WW2 British Royal Navy Officers Medal group to Lt Edward Pennington Abson RNVR comprising of 1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star, Africa Star and Burma Star. All complete with original ribbons and in box of issue. Born 6/3/1918 in Wales and joined the Navy on 27/03/1942 and his last posting 5 was to P Class Destroyer G77 HMS Penn in 1945.

Complete RAF Service and Release book with entries from 1940 to 1946, RAF Malaya Pass dated 26/8/41, a large portrait photo of Clp Silverwood in uniform, size 27cm x 22cm, along with a photo album documenting his service in Australia after escaping from Singapore plus one of his identity disks. Clp Silverwood served as a Cook with several Spitfire Sqd's including 242 Sqd with Douglas Bader and 54 Sqd in Australia. Photo of Bader taken in 1941 along with press cuttings of Bader's death.

Born 18th June 1925, died 25th December 2005. Major Marsh lost an arm while on active service, but continued to serve in the Army. Included are two photos of him in uniform along with ID disk, miniature medals, ribbon bars, cap badge, rank pips and Crowns, shoulder titles etc.

Scottish Officers Cutaway Pattern Service Dress Tunic. Complete with Parachute Qualification "Lightbulb" insignia to cuff. Tailors lable for "Jardines, The Hawick House, Edinburgh" and named to "SJM Barnetson" and dated 4/6/65. No buttons or collar dogs. Loops for medal bar. The tunic has holes to shoulder straps for the rank of Capt. Research confirms 472485 SJM Barnetson later became a Major with 1st Battl KOSB and served in the Berlin Brigade in 1987.
A large late 19th century bone fan with a red silk brocade leaf, the fabric woven with floral sprays, and then painted in gold and soft pink in larger but similar floral design. The painting continues down into the otherwise plain gorge. The top edge of the leaf has the addition of a border of frothy marabou, dyed red. The verso is plain red silk satin. Contained in a card fan box with motted paper exterior and labelled inside for ''Voisin Ch Richard Sucr Eventailliste Fabricant 19 Rue de la Paix, 19, PARIS'' Overall length to include feathers approx 14.5 inches or 37cm. Voisin were awarded the silver medal at both the 1875 and the 1878 Universal Exhibitions in Paris. In good order, somewhat dusty, the box lid is defective, but holding.
