A Crimea Medal to Private George Haugh of the 33rd Foot (Duke of Wellington`s Regiment), three clasps, Alma, Inkermann, Sebastopol, (G. Haugh. 33rd Regt.), extremely fine Private George Haugh was killed on the 20th of March 1855, aged 22 at Sebastopol, his name is included at the Memorial to the 33rd at the Crimea. Monumental Inscriptions in Buittle Churchyard - Inscription 158 `Erected by Nathan Haugh, in memory of his beloved friends, his father James Haugh, died at Heuchyard, Kelton, 19th Feb`y 1855, aged 89 years. Also his brother George, died in the Crimean War, 20th March 1855, aged 22 years. Also his brother Robert, perished at sea, Sept. 1864, aged 24 years.......`

Blake, 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, War Medal 1939-45, with transmission slip, and inscribed box of issue 14711815 Private Herbert Blake of the 4th Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment, fell on the 15th of February 1945, aged 20 years, foster-son of Mrs E. L. Blake of Clifford Street, Southampton, he is Remembered with Honour at the Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Germany The Reichswald Forest War Cemetery was created after the Second World War when burials were brought in from all over western Germany and is the largest Commonwealth cemetery in the country. Some of those members of the land forces buried there died in the advance through Reichswald Forest in February 1945. Others died crossing the Rhine, among them members of the airborne forces whose bodies were brought from Hamminkeln, where landings were made by the 6th Airborne Division from bases in England. Some of the airmen buried in the cemetery lost their lives in supporting the advance into Germany, but most died earlier in the war in the intensive air attacks over Germany. Their graves were brought in from cemeteries and isolated sites in the surrounding area. There are now 7,594 Commonwealth servicemen of the Second World War buried or commemorated in the cemetery. 176 of the burials are unidentified.There are also 78 war graves of other nationalities, most of them Polish.
