CONDITION REPORT Both coins are Almost Good-Good, any wear from circulation. Silver-coloured jug is slightly uneven, top of the spout is loose, surface scratches and some loose fittings to handle.

Cavan, 1933] A unique carved and painted frame decorated with shamrocks, footballers, etc., the top with embellished with flags of the four provinces and with central All-Ireland Medal over "Cabhan," the base highlighted in gilt "1933 - Champions na hEireann," all surrounding a central black and white Photograph of the Cavan Team. Unique.* Cavan beat Galway by a single point in front of a record crowd, on a score line of 2.5 to 2.4, they were the first team from Ulster to win the All-Ireland.

1911 All-Ireland "Substitute" FinalMedal: G.A.A., Hurling 1911, a 9ct gold "All-Ireland" Medal, the obverse with Celtic Cross design, the central pierced motif with harp overlay and inscribed "Eire", and surrounded "Cumana na gCleat - luit Gaeahealach," the reverse inscribed "All-Ireland Hurling Championship, won by Kilkenny 1911", hallmarked. (1)* Having beaten the reigning champions, Wexford, Kilkenny took on Dublin in the Leinster final and defeated them 4.6 to 3.1. In the All-Ireland semi-final, Antrim were Kilkenny's next victims when they went down by 1.1 to 5.5. Limerick defeated Tipperary by 5.3 to 4.3 in a closely fought Munster final. The All-Ireland final was fixed for the Cork Athletic Grounds but, after several days of heavy rain, the pitch was declared unplayable and the match was rearranged to be played at Thurles. Limerick refused to play anywhere else but Cork, and as a result, Kilkenny were awarded the All-Ireland title. A substitute match was arranged in which Kilkenny beat Tipperary by 3.3. to 2.1. Although Kilkenny had worn the black and amber as early as 1893, it was from this 1911 period that they were adopted as the official Kilkenny colours.

1904 Kilkenny Hurling LeagueMedal: G.A.A.: Co. Kilkenny, 1904, an attractive circular silver Medal, the obverse in Celtic design and engraved central harp, the reverse engraved "K.H.L. (Kilkenny Hurling League) Confederation H.C. 1904," hall marked H. & H. (Hopkins & Hopkins), Scarce; together with a silver Fob Watch and link Chain. (3)* Confederation G.A.A. was an amalgamation of all Kilkenny City Clubs who joined forces to represent the county in the All-Ireland Series. In 1904 Kilkenny won their first All-Ireland Title, with Mooncoin representing the Cats. Confederation G.A.A. no longer exists in the Kilkenny Club Championship.

Vaughan 1900" not hall marked. (1)* Organized by the Cleeve's Condensed Milk Factory on the banks of the Shannon. Cleeve was High Sheriff of Limerick Three Times.

Vincenti et Cie, Paris, a Victorian globe clock: the eight-day duration movement having a replaced platform lever escapement and striking the hours and half-hours on a bell, the backplate bearing the trademark stamp of the maker Vincenti et Cie and numbered 36B, contained in a blue lacquer globe with raised gilt-brass Roman numerals, decorative applied raised stars and gilt-brass hands depicting arrows, held aloft by three gilt-metal winged cherubs standing on a cylindrical white marble base with applied gilt-metal floral mounts, on a further shaped base and standing on four gilt-metal feet, height 39.5cm.* Biography Vincenti started his workshops before 1823 in Montbeliard, France making the blancs roulants (rough movements) for clockmakers to finish and use, but went bankrupt a year later, whereupon the clock manufacturer Roux took on the management. Although Vincenti died in 1834, the business continued, winning a number of awards including the Medaille d'Argent (silver medal) in 1855.
